Do I need to pay to enter Pacific Park?
Pacific Park is Los Angeles’ only admission-free amusement park; your Reservation E-Ticket, which you can purchase at a discount right here and later redeem for a wristband upon your arrival at the park, provides unlimited use of all rides.
What if I purchase an E-Ticket for an all-day wristband and it rains?
Rain showers seldom last for very long in Santa Monica. When inclement weather moves into the area, Pacific Park does close some rides due to weather and/or safety conditions. Generally weather closures last for a very short period of time. Should the weather require a longer closure, the park's management will assist guests with ticket and wristband questions.
What forms of payment does Pacific Park accept?
Pacific Park accepts cash and all major credit cards – MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover – at all of the park's food outlets and gift shops. Pacific Park also accepts traveler’s checks for payment with a valid, government-issued photo ID.

Pacific Park does not restrict outside food and beverages. However, NO alcoholic beverages may be brought into Pacific Park. The City of Santa Monica's municipal code prohibits any alcoholic beverages on the Pier, except for beverages purchased and consumed within restaurants with the appropriate license to serve.
Does Pacific Park have a dress code?
Pacific Park does not have a formal dress code. Guests are encouraged to dress comfortably for the beach environment and weather forecast...don’t forget your sunscreen!
What should I do if I become separated from my child?
Uniformed security officers in the park are trained to deal with lost children. If you lose sight of your child, please advise a security officer, or ask any uniformed employee to direct you to the park's administrative offices.
What should I do if someone in my family needs first aid?
Pacific Park security officers are trained to handle any minor first aid needs. In addition, the Los Angeles Harbor Patrol substation located on the Pier maintains a staff of trained emergency first aid personnel. If you or a family member needs assistance, please advise the nearest uniformed security officer or Pacific Park employee to direct you to the administrative offices.
Are there facilities for nursing mothers and diaper changes?
Diaper changing tables are provided in both men’s and women’s restrooms at Pacific Park. The Park does not have a private or specific facility for nursing mothers.
Do the rides have height requirements?
To ensure the safety of all guests, Pacific Park does enforce minimum and/or maximum height requirements on all of its rides. These requirements are clearly posted at the entrance to each ride and at ticket booths.
Are there rides for small children?
All of the rides at Pacific Park are family-friendly. Small children may ride most of the rides at the Park, although some rides may require that they be accompanied by a parent. Specific ride access information is clearly posted at the entrance to each ride.
Do parents need to purchase an E-Ticket for wristbands to ride with their small children?
Small children are able to safely ride a number of the rides in Pacific Park without an adult. However, parents wishing to accompany their children on rides must purchase an E-Ticket and bring it to exchange for a wristband upon arrival at Pacific Park.
Can I ride the Ferris Wheel and other rides alone?
Most of the rides at the park are available to single boarding guests. The exception to that policy is the signature Pacific Wheel Ferris wheel.
Is the park handicap-accessible?
Pacific Park is accessible to visitors with disabilities. Pacific Park is committed to complying with the letter and spirit of the Americans with Disabilities Act and applicable California law. However, service animals are not permitted on several of the rides. All service animals must remain on a leash, harness or tether at all times. Pacific Park employees are not permitted to handle or control service animals. Certain Pacific Park rides are accessible to guests with service animals through the ride queue, and some service animals may be too large to fit safely in certain rides, therefore barring them from riding with their host. Service animals should ride on the floor of the permitted rides and/or attractions.
The paths of travel around Pacific Park are wheelchair accessible. Most rides and attractions at Pacific Park are accessible to all guests; however, no rides and attractions are configured to accommodate a wheelchair within the ride system. Guests with mobility impairments wishing to ride will need the assistance of a member of their party to fully utilize these areas. Guests using wheelchairs must be able to transfer from their wheelchairs onto each ride system. Pacific Park employees are not permitted to physically transfer guests to and from wheelchairs; therefore, it is recommended that that guests who need help with transfers visit the park with a person or persons who can physically assist them.
Due to their configuration, some Pacific Park rides or attractions have auxiliary entrances for guests with disabilities. Guests using auxiliary entrances may not bypass waiting lines; instead, these entrances are intended to offer guests using wheelchairs a more convenient entrance to the attraction. Guests using wheelchairs may wait at any ride’s auxiliary entrance while the remainder of their party processes through the main queue line.
Are there restrictions for plus-size riders on some rides?
There are no formal restrictions at Pacific Park for weight or height; however, the manufacturer's designs of the safety bars and/or harness systems on some rides may limit some guests' enjoyment and comfort.
Can I bring my camera or video recorder on the rides?
Pacific Park does not restrict the use of cameras and video recorders for personal, non-commercial use. Due to safety restrictions, some cameras and/or video recorders may not be permitted on certain rides.
